Orchard Equestrian is an Irish company based in Limerick, Ireland specialising in the supply of equine healthcare products, tack, grooming products, clothing and supplements etc. We ship all our products from Ireland, so goods supplied to the EU will be Customs and Duty free.
Orchard Equestrian was set up in 2003 when founder Aiden Devine bought a pony. The pony in question was born in a field and never had human contact in 4 years. Aiden went to his vet looking for a supplement to calm the pony as it was very anxious. He bought a suitable supplement and the product worked very well. He thought the product was quite expensive, so he decided to look online for a similar product. He found a product online on a USA website and bought it as it was twice the size and half the price of the first product he bought from his vet. He then had an idea to contact the manufacturer (Gateway Products Inc) in the USA to see if they had an Irish distributor. They did not have a wholesaler in Ireland and they were delighted for Orchard Equestrian to introduce their brand into Ireland and Europe. The first pallets arrived to his garage in his house and the rest is history.
